Zoeva Cosmetics Rose Gold Brushes

Well ladies and gents, here I am, back to the blogosphere with a bang after about a month off. It turns out however, that the month off was worth it after getting the results of my exam today and getting 97%. Sometimes you just need to concentrate on one thing to reap the rewards!

So I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas with your loved ones, and your New Year has got off to a brilliant and productive start. I was an extraordinarily lucky girl this Christmas, but instead of doing one "What I got for Christmas post" I've decided to pick out some of my beauty related gifts and do individual, more in-depth posts about them, for all you lovely people to enjoy.

Drum roll please…. meet the newest member of my makeup holy trinity, the Zoeva Cosmetics Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol. 2. This particular set comes with 8 brushes, and the beautiful rose gold clutch to carry them around in, as if you needed more reason to carry them around!

It comes with a range of face and eye brushes, I'll list them below.

- 104 Buffer Brush: This is the biggest brush in the set, and is pretty dense. I've been using it to apply my foundation and it gives a flawless finish to any product I use, with barely any product. I've given up my Real Techniques sponge for this - so it must be good.

-109 Luxe Face Paint Brush: This is the beautiful flat contour brush that you can see in the above picture. As it says on the tin, it contours beautifully, and the brush is so gentle on the skin.

- 126 Luxe Cheek Finish Brush: The softest brush known to man, I've been using it for powder, but it would be beautiful for highlighter as well.

- 226 Smudger Brush: This is the only brush I've not used just yet, but it's really dense so will be perfect for upper and lower lash lines to create the smokey eye of dreams.

- 228 Luxe Crease Brush: The perfect "fluffy brush" super soft and super at blending, it's also the ideal shape for applying a shimmery shade to the brow bone, and other pretty highlighting touches like the cupids bow and the bridge of the nose.

- 234 Luxe Smokey Shader: The smokey shader is a beautiful brush for packing, it does work for applying shadow in the crease as well if you want that intense look. It can also be doubled up to use for smudging.

- 317 Wing Liner Brush: Praise the eyeliner gods, we have found the holy grail. Now I had honed my liner technique with a pen style liner, but always struggled with a brush, until this baby came along. She has schooled me in the art of liner.

- 322 Brow Line Brush: I usually fill my brows in with a crayon/pencil from Collection and then set them with the Brow Drama Gel, but this brush is perfect for getting that Instagram arch.

So there you have it, the most beautiful brushes known to man, the only problem with them is that you won't want to use them! Links down below.

See you soon. Lots of love,

N x
